kind of have a lot [A LOT] to say, so bear with me now [if there are grammar and spelling mistakes, sorry, wnet through this really fast!]. first of all...

i co-hosted with kitchie nadal!! woohoo!

[btw, people, KITCHIE IS THE ONE IN THE PICTURE WITH ME. some people mistook her as my actual girlfriend. di raw kamukha ni kitchie. hehehehe. i counted them nga eh, the ones who got fooled. marami-rami rin! hehehehe.] more on that later. first..

.: UA&P interview :.

well, hafta say, not to blow my own horn but.. i'm assured of a college na! wahahahaha.

the interview went really well.. even though i was late. yup, i had just come from our SACB event's modeling try-outs. got to UA&P with a second to spare, but then, i got lost around campus for about 10mins. so still, i was late.

in the room where the interviews were held, there were 2 other students. one was currently being interviewed, the other was waiting on the couch outside the interviewing room. both of them were in long-sleeved polo shirts and black slacks! i was wearing a casual shirt and faded jeans! boom. this wasn't going all too well.

anyway, bout an hour later [each interview lasted about 30mins], it was my turn. the dude was a history professor who happened to be my sister's former professor. haha, small world. he asked why i was late and i gave the honest answer. it was okay with him[i think. even thef act that i was underdressed.] so the interview started like any other interview would, simple information, the who's, where's, when's, simple stuff bout my family. but damn, that interview took every one of my braincells to go through.

the big guns. [highlights. well, a lot of them. yes, i do remember them. something THIS nerve-wrecking ought to be remembered word for word.]

Q: what are the three most important things in your life and why?
A: faith. i have a sturdy faith. i believe in God above all things. i believe that no matter what happens to me, good or bad, has a reason and is part of God's ultimate will. with this in mind, i keep myself strong-willed and brave. family. i love my family. ever since, if ever there was anything i needed.wanted, they've always been there. they're the group of people that have been with me since day one and will be with me on my last day. expression. i believe a lot in everyone's ability to express his/herself. to me, this is very important as it defines each and every one of us and tells us who we are, what to think, how to act, what to say. it is the basis of our individuality, our personality [blah blah, i forgot this part na] if we weren't able to express ourselves, we would all be the same. everyone would be generic. [blah blah]

Q: you said you believed in expression, what's your stand on homosexuality? do you accept them in society? is it just another form of this self-expression you believe in so much? [i have NO idea where that came from. maybe he thought i was gay. i was using the best english i could. when that happens, i develop this weird, high-pitched, slang, sliding accent that sounds womanly. ass.]
A: well, yes, i do accept them and i have nothing against their presence in society today. to me, it is just another way to express one's self. they deserve as much respect as the rest of us. they're people who have their own dignity and individuality as well.

Q:
what about gay/lesbian marriages? are those still forms of self-expression? do you accept that?
A: i guess like all beliefs, mine has a limitation. there's a line between expression and just plain unacceptable behavior, to me, i do not find the marriage of gays and lesbians acceptable. for one thing, it goes against my faith. from the bible until the present social teaching's of the church, such actions have been frowned upon. i mean, there are canon laws that have been recently put up to ban such actions from happeneing [i took a long shot there cuz i didn't really know! but luckily, he didn't seem to notice]

Q: think about your personal expreiences with your family, which one of them has struck you the most.
A: [thinks.. for a long time. any will do.] well, i guess it was when we were in europe last summer. at one of our stops, germany i think, we were out of euros. we had US dollars but no euros, and there wasn't an exchange place anywhere. so that night, we stayed in the hotel room, and brought out all the food we had. a couple of packs of corned beef, some crackers, and some chips. and all of us made do with that. it was really funny. and that night, our dad started a family discussion about our lifeplans, who we were gonna be in 5, 10, 20 years. it was a great experience.

Q: what do you see yourself doing in the future? who will you be once you leave college?
A: well, after college... [thinks] i love music. i think that i'd like to give it a shot. i know i may not excel in it right now, i'm not at all good, but i believe that if i work hard enough, maybe take special classes all the way through college, i might be able to improve enough to try it out. after that, after i've fulfilled myself in that aspect, i'd like to maybe venture into advertising like my sister who studied here, she's been nothing but a success and i'd like to accomplish something like what she has. in some years, who knows, maybe i'll land my dream job of being a creative director for an ad agency. and after all that, when i'm old, i'll just retire and... feed my children [stupid punch-line]

Q: but you do understand that getting into music will cause you te be very financially unstable. you might not even make it there. what will become with your future family in that case? how will you provide for them?
A: [think think think. hit him with a quote!] i believe that with passion, there is excellence. [thank you rep class ta5!] so witht hat, as long as i love what i'll be doing, even though i won't do well in it financially, i'll be fine with that. if i keep on it and work hard, the money will be secondary. [sabog-ation in 3... 2... 1...] with my future family, i don't want to subject them to the uncomfortable life my "career" in music will probably bring. so instead of spreading the... uncomfortable lifestyle to others, i'll just keep it to myself and not start a family yet. rather than others suffer in my stead, i'll suffer alone.

Q: if you had the ability to meet anyone famous in the past or present, who would it be and why? what would you talk about?
A: [think think.. names popping up.. george bush. GMA. britney spears. steven spielberg. pablo neruda. stephon marbury. the creative team at pixar studios. usher raymond. calvin and hobbes. the pause is too long!!! go!!! okay, go with the emotional, un-lengkoy, un-politcal-thinking one..] pablo neruda. see, in my spare time, i like to write alot. i guess it's my own little way of expressing myself [i kept it a point to be consistent and to go back to previous statements] and pablo neruda has been an inspiration for me [what a lie]. i guess we'd talk about inspiration, writing style, etc. see, in almost all his poems, he made his wife the muse of the poem, and i'd like to find out how exactly he drew all that inspiration from one source and write beautiful things. [blah blah. i know i said more, i forgot na.]

**

[tamad na ako to do it in Q & A form] then he asked me bout my college priorities. i had it in me to lie that very moment. i told him that it would depend on my final choice of career. if i decided to take up advertising all my life, i'd go to UA&P [liar!], if i decide to venture into something more than advertising, maybe business and such, i'd got o the blue school. hehehehe. then he asked me if two letters came to my doorstep the next day, one from UA&P, one from Ateneo, and both said that i'd been accepted, which one would i pick? [i couldn't lie anymore] "at this point in time," i told him, "i'd have to pick the blue letter." he shot back, "what then would it take for you to go to this school? i mean, are your friends all going to ateneo? is that the reason you're going there?" hehehehe. "well, i guess it would depend if i DO pass ateneo. and i guess it would depend on what happens in the near future. regarding my friends, yes, they are going to ateneo. but no, that's not the reason i'm going tehre. because i believe that once we hit college, we won't be able to spend as much time with each other anymore. i review the courses carefully, aske people and family members whom i know are in the courses i'm interested in. that's how i make up my mind. and when i saw the IMC program, i was really impressed. it's a very dynamic program filled with [blah blah. puro bola.]" then he asked me if i had any questions. i swear, i wanted to shoot a nice, thought-provoking question right there and then, but hell, i was out of braincells [i'm never drinking alcohol again]. as a final word, he said, "well, i'm very impressed. [kaboom!!!] and i personally, not as a professor of this school, think that you should really really consider going to this school. ask your sister why. i'm looking forward to seeing you in campus next year."

**

and there you have it. the interview went better than i had expected. i may have had mental-block in some parts of it, but i weathered it through and i'm happy. hehehehe. hmm. masyado na to mahaba! i'll get into more kwento tomorrow. the story on our SACB sportsfest opening [with kitchie!!!] is another long story! yun na muna. tc all!

.: finally.. a free night :.

damn. life does always seem to balance things out. i come off a 5-day weekend and i'm bombarded with too much stress for me to handle. student council responsibilities suddenly rose to a high level, with so many events going on! whew, i barely have time to breathe! argh.

.: the events :.

okay, so what's been up?

a) the opening of the new auditorium - yup, after about 30 years, LSGH finally revamped the audi! it's really nice and the ebst thing about it is that it smells like a new car! hehehe. it has a balcony now and high-tech lights/sounds. anyway, we SACB officers had to watch the opening show which was sorta like a variety show. lotsa performers. sina ogie, the raymundo brothers, mike salomon, louie ocampo, the high-voiced guy from akafellas, villuga. and many more. it was fun, but i got home at about 9 already.

b) ANIMO night - at P1K a ticket, who would think of going there?? well, more than a thousand people showed up. celebrities, DLSU athletes/former athletes, students, pep squads. i dunno why we were there, but we were. we had to usher and help out in the registration, run errands and stuff. big hassle. it started so late pa naman. hehe. anyway, it was fun though. lasalista spirit boost. hehe.

c) intrams - biggest hassle of the moment. lots of things to organize and finalize and stuff. basta! and the worst thing of all is... i'm gonna host the opening ceremonies on wednesday! hassle! it might be fun, but it's gonna be hella humiliating. okay lang, my co-hosts might be sina Heart or something. hehehehe.

d) edsor - yearly seminar/camp thingy of the EDSA-ortigas schools [poveda, xavier, lsgh, ica]. this year, it'll be held at lsgh so more hassle for us!

e) NbN - our main event. the even we did! dec 11. still very, very raw. but hey, at elast we're getting there! haaaay. it's not that easy to make an event like this. we gotta get sponsors, invite performers, take care of logistics, screen models for the fashion show, and whatever things. this one's gonna be the most tiring.

f) school - i haven't passed a quiz in a while. hehehe. i dunno, sabaw ako this quarter. but then again, i got some of my grades in the 2nd qtr and hey, they weren't that bad! woohoo. hope i get in the 2ndH board man lang!

g) new business - yup. my sister and i are planning to open up a business. we'll open up a printing company. we can print words/designs/pics on shirts, mugs, pens, umbrellas, styrofoam covers, signs, stickers, etc. basta, marami! hehe. just hope i have enough time for this.

h) stuff and more stuff. personal stuff na. friends, family, and all that stuff.

whew. life's a total hassle.

.: UA&P :.

i passed my first college! woohoo! i got in an interview! hahaha. my friends and family all say that once they call you for an interview at UA&P, you're pretty much in the school na! UA&p may not be my first choice, but it's good to know i'm assured a college already. my interview's gonna be tomorrow. hehehe. wish me luck!

.: she will be loved :.

hey, finally got a pic of my girlfriend. i'm so in love with her...

i love her! we look cute no? hehehe. [kapal talaga ng mukha ko!!! wahahaha! unfortunately, of all my new pics, this is the only one i can post at the moment. i can't get my hands on the pc with a connection to my camphone.]

.: granddad :.

my lolo was taken to the hospital early morning of monday. he was puking blood. he was in the ICU for a few days. his blood pressure fluctuated in weird intervals. when i found out, i was so shocked. i didn't know what to think. the doector even said that he might have leukemia. at age 81, that ain't good thing. haaaay. but thank God talaga, it wasn't anything THAT serious. his condition's stabilized and he's coming home na this weekend. i visited him last night and he seemed perfectly fine! the same lolo i've always known and loved! hehehe.

* sorry kung inaabuso ko na pag-blog ko! i dunno when i'll be able to blog again eh!*

.: music revivals :.

i'm cursed for some reason. see. i always get nostalgic with songs. i tend to start liking songs years after it is released. but you know what, whenever i do start liking an old song, some creep has to revive it and make it known to everyone! it sucks, and suddenly, everyone is singing it! there was maybe by neocolours. king revived it. there was hands to heaven by breathe. christian bautista came along. now, 214 by rivermaya. damn luke mijares! i'm cursed. well, now, i'm starting to regain my liking for the song kaleidoscope world by francis m. i think that got released when i was in the 2nd grade or something. i doubt anyone will remake that.

.: massages :.

i might be the only person in the world who hates em. i dunno why. i guess it's cuz i have sensitive muscles or something [touch my shoulder blades, and i'll scream in pain like a little girl]. i really don't like getting them! but then, my dad forced me to get one for my ailing ankle. it was okay i guess, but the guy's hands were so dirty my whole leg was filled with libag after the massage. hehehe. eh he was partly blind, so i guess he didn't notice. it's all good. hehehehe.

anyway, i taped my ankle up and played basketball last wednesday. it was okay. by okay, i mean not too good. i can't run at top speed. i can't jump that high. and when i stop from running in a sudden motion, my ankle starts hurting like hell. the intrams is 9 days away. i hope i do well. first fight pa naman namin is with 4B, the ones whom we lost to when i got injured. im seek revenge! hehehe. kidding!

* well, that's all for now. hopefully, before i go back to school, i can blog again. maybe post some pics. tc. *

.: let us all thank God for chocolate :.

it was chino's birthday celebration last night. so the five of us hit gb3 [yes, i completely disregarded the condition of my foot. i had it taped so i wouldn't feel the pain and so far, it's working, but as soon as i remove the tape, i die again] for some dinner, a movie and to hangout, or as my sister so hates to call it, "to chillax". [it sound annoying.]

i had just heard from mon and greg, usual volunteers at the TASK program [a program in antipolo where you teach less fortunate children] that some of our frinds and classmates were food poisoned by our teacher!!! evilness. haha. nahh, i don't think he meant it. but two of my classmates had to go to the hospital, and my other friend, mico, had to vomit every twenty minutes, or so mon tells me. either it was our culinary arts teacher that did it, or it was the evil-street-pink-crappy-gulaman-drink-poison that mico drank that did it. hehe. well, hope they feel better.

we watched manchurian candidate. comments? i had expected more. i had expected to doubt and question the present political status of all the USA. instead, i found myself nearly leaning on the shoulder of the stranger beside me, falling asleep. oh well. the plot was okay i guess but still, the movie was a little better than crap. 2.5 stars/4 stars.

the movie ended at around 130am and greg and mon had to leave already. so the three of us left hung out at Bizu. and for the second time that night, we splurged on chocolate goodness. looking at joel's face as we took the first bite on his piece of chocolate heaven, i remember how my other friend once described chocolate...

we were eating kookie korner chocolate cake at his place for no reason, apparently, we were hungry and there was nothing in the fridge but that... or veggies. screw the veggies, im eating cake. so we were eating right, and suddenly he goes, [wait, this is funny]

"mmmm. this is so... ORGASMic!"
i look at him with eyes as big as plates and said, "dude, are you gay?"

i have weird friends.

hehehehe. that was probably the weirdest statement bout chocolate i've ever heard. last night though, while chino ate the brainwashing, problem-reducing chocolate, he gasped out, "i think i'm falling in love with chocolate." hmm. i'd think only girls love chocolate THAT much. i guess i'm wrong.

.: addicted to this blog :.

i'm hooked. i'm looking for more ways to improve it. and i keep changing the music video every 30mins. can't find a goo goo dolls video to put up. and when i do, i can't pirate the code for it. hehehehe. yup, i'm stealing these videos from other sites! ahehehehe. i'll keep changing the video every now and then to my liking.

.: heart :.

how do you define an athlete's heart? i mean can anyone really describe it? analysts say that in the NBA today, allen iverson has the most heart of any player. he plays through injuries, he single-handedly leads his team to victory, he's the bravest driver [he's 6'0" and charges himself at 7 footers to make shots]. but those are all descriptions. how does one define heart? i know i can tell if someone has heart, i can just say, "ah, la yang heart." and i'd be correct, but i still don't have an exact definition for it. help someone? joel? chino? lalang. just a sudden insight.

**

i don't really have much kwento right now, so i'll just update this soon. pictures soon. got a few new pics. hehehe. mmkay? tc.

like i said, i'd make a new blog. hehehehe. finally!

.: my brain's atrophy :.

sometimes, it can rock to study in La Salle. for example, this quarter, on average, we will only have three days of school per week.

seriously.

hehehe. so what's the downside? i'm getting stupid-er. see? hehehe. but then again, it's pretty cool cuz i get to catch up on things i can't normally do during school days [e.g bumming, sleeping 14 hours a day, noon-time shows] right now, i'm entering midway of a 5-day weekend which started on Thursday and will end on Monday. hahahaha. fun fun. i didn't do a thing today. just finished a sleep-over with my buddies since yesterday. lotsa fun. usual hang-out stuff. grabe. days like these come by too quickly.

.: injured list :.

and so, following that we had a 5-day weekend, and the intrams are a couple of weeks away, we decided to have an exhibition game with 4B. hmmm. that didn't turn out very well. the game was going really well when...

----> injury #1
- it was a rainy day to play basketball at Northeast Greenhills.
- late in the 1st half, 4A leads 4B by a considerable amount of points.
- kim pullante defends roy cabugao.
- KP#8 pokes it away from cabugs.
- j runs towards the ball, collects it and runs towards their court.. it's a fastbreak.
- defenders are catching up, j is nearly there.
- he picks up the ball, takes a step and thinks, "here's an easy basket!"
- he takes a second step. lo and behold..
- he steps on a wet spot and slips at full speed.
- his left leg flails up as he flies off the court.
- even though he used his left hand to break the fall, most of his weight was still concentrated on his butt when he landed.
- he literally bounces on the concrete.
- j is down.

----> injury #2
- j has sat out for a while, resting his aching ass.
- he returns to the game, ready to pick the pace up.
- the game is going well.
- j is on the break-away again.
- he drives all the way for the lay-up and thinks, "now, here's an easy basket."
- he takes the lay-up and as he lands.. he falls on his right ankle. [luksong tinik at full speed]
- j is down.. and out.

and so, i haven't been able to walk correctly since. got a sprained ankle, large bruises everywhere and a strained wrist. agh. it's all part of the game, i know, but i just hope this'll all be back to normal by the intrams.

**

--> hope the lay-out's nice enough, kinda childish though, pero i don't mind. tc.
